    This is a vintage 1940′s Waddy Productions “Spelling Bee” card game for “A Pair or a Party”.  The game is complete with two (2) set of fifty six (56) cards and the instructions/rules booklet.   Internally, the game is in absolutely excellent near mint condition.  Externally, the box does have some scratches and a little wear (to be expected of a game of this age).

    For two or more nostalgic players.

    A great classic and educational 1940′s game for the collector or vintage game player!

    This lovely vintage Denby earthenware jar is complete with it lid.  Made circa 1975 to 1985, the jar depicts four hunt scenes.

    Pieces like this are now a very collectable due to the controversial subject matter.

    Some of the gold detailing is slightly fading in parts but the jar is free from any cracks or chips. the jar measures 9.5cm x 10.5cm approximately.

    A highly collectable and very functional piece from Denby.

    Art Deco Circa 1920′s to 1930′s Japanese Hand-Painted Porcelain Half-Doll or Pin-Cushion

    This sweet art deco period Japanese hand-painted half-doll or top of a pin cushion is beautifully made from a translucent porcelain, she is delicately hand decorated in blue and yellow with pink rosey cheeks.  Dating from between the 1920′s and 1930′s, this doll measures a cute 6.5cm high approximately and is in excellent undamaged condition with no chips, cracks or restoration.  There are a couple patches of very minor paint loss here and there but not bad for her age! Please see photos for detail.  Marked “Japan” on the back.

    Would be ideal for the art deco Japanese ceramics collector or the vintage doll or pin cushion collector.  Could be restored.

    This superb Clarice Cliff “Bizarre” art deco plate is beautifully and skilfully hand-painted in a “Bizarre” pattern on “The Biarritz” shaped rectangular dish. Dating circa 1934 and made by Wilkinsons Ltd at the Royal Staffordshire potteries.

    Measuring approximately 23cm by 19cm and in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration.  Only a couple of minor underglaze factory flaws.  Clearly marked underneath with all the important stamps and impressed date of “34″ for 1934. See photos.

    A lovely collectable art deco plate for the Clarice Cliff collector that would look fab on display.

    This fabulous 1960′s hand-painted ceramic rotary phone money box was made circa 1962 in Hanley England by the Studio Szeiler works.  In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration work and even retaining the original plastic stopper.

    Measuring 10.5cm by 11cm, this perfect little vintage collectable is great for display or as practical money box to keep by the phone for household contributions.  Very collectable, very practical and made by the fab Szeiler Studio in the 1960′s!

    This is a set of six (6) Yeoman Silver Plate and Bakelite “Coffee Bean” spoons.

    In its original box (although faded and has a couple of scuffs due to age), both the box and spoons are in very good condition.  The spoons are unused and have been recently cleaned.  The silver plate is in very good condition with no fading or visible signs of wear (maybe some light surface scratches on a couple of spoons).

    Each spoon measures approximately 10cm long with a lovely Bakelite “coffee bean” ball on the handle.  Please have a look at the high resolution photos.

    Vintage Schylling Tin-Plate Friction Operated “Robot – Space Trooper”

    A great collectable for the retro tin-plate toy collector.  Looking very much like “Robby” the robot from the 1956 sci-fi classic “Forbidden Planet”, this is a collectors reproduction made circa the 1990′s and unlike the original, this is a friction operated robot, so you just wind the handle and put him down.  Made in China, he measures approximately 16.5cm tall and about 9cm at the widest points. This robot comes with the original box (slightly faded) and is in excellent condition with very minor paint loss in a couple of places but hardly noticeable.

    A super space trooper for the adult vintage toy collector!
