Vintage Art Deco 1930 to 1942 Hand-Painted Myott, Son and Co Bowl – 0000431

This sweet and colourful bowl was made circa 1930 to 1942 by Myott, Son and Co, England. Hand painted in a lovely orange and beige colour-way, this bowl measures approximately 7.5cm in diameter by 5cm high. The condition overall is excellent for its age with no crazing, cracks or restoration, but there is the tiniest of chips to the rim. Very easily touch-up-able. Please see photos.

A lovely art deco bowl that is perfect for display with your art deco collection.

Vintage 1960′s – 1970′s Porcelain Susie Cooper (Wedgwood) Musical Instruments Coffee Cans and Saucers x2 – 0000136

This vintage porcelain Susie Cooper coffee can and saucer set dates from between 1966 and 1970 when Susie Cooper became part of the Wedgwood Group England. With an interesting musical instruments theme and in Susie Coopers unmistakable two-tone colours, the cups and saucers can be interchanged with one another.

Both sets are free from chips, cracks or repair, but the burnt orange saucer has some surface scratches (see photos).

Delicate, pretty and unusual, this Susie Cooper set is essential for any collector of this fine designers work.

Art Deco Japanese “Noritake” Porcelain Japanese Egg Cup – 0000045

This fine porcelain egg cup was made by “Noritaké” around the 1930’s in Japan. This egg cup is interesting as the hand-painted design is not Japanese in character and so it was made for the international and Western market during the art deco design period.

The symbol within the mark is the Japanese character “Komaru” meaning “overcoming difficulties”. Quite significant when you think the period this cup was made.

The egg cup is in very good condition with no cracks or chips – there is some wear to the gold detailing around the rim and to the glaze – not really visible and for a 60 or 70 year old egg cup it looks fab!

Great for the collector of Japanese porcelain or vintage egg cups.

Vintage Lustreware 1920′s/1930′s Rabbit or Hare Egg Cup – 0000181

This vintage lustreware egg cup is of a rabbit or hare and dates from around the 1920′s or 1930′s and possibly German or Japanese.

It is unmarked to the base and is free from damage except for some paint loss to the glaze around the top and some minor wear to the lustre finish.

Great piece of vintage kitchenalia or for the lover and collector of vintage, rare and collectable egg cups.

Vintage 1970′s/1980′s Worzel Gummidge Ceramic Egg Cup – 0000269

This vintage egg cup is off the British living scarecrow TV and children’s book character Worzel Gummidge. Worzel Gummidges’ character has been around since the 1930′s in children’s books and was only televised in 1979 which is where I believe this modelling likeness lies.

He dates between 1979 and the mid 1980′s, is unmarked and quite rare. The TV series was only made for for a couple of years and Worzel Gummidge merchandise is not widespread.

Worzel is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration (but does have some very minor crazing and staining on the inside).

Very kitsch, very collectable and quite rare! Buy him now, you know you want to!
