Another great boxed vintage Lesney Series “Models of Yesteryear” model for the collector!
The Lesney die cast 1899 London Horse Drawn Bus was first issued in 1959 and was very popular and remained in production for many years after! This bus is a first issue (single rivet on the horse draw bar) and is in very good (lightly played-with) condition for its age, with some minor chips that could be restored.
Features the “Lipton’s Tea” advert on the side, plus many other cool bit of vintage advertising. This one bears the Victoria to Kings Cross route.
This lovely bus also comes with an original first issue type “B” box (without the “reg’d” under the “No.12”.) The box is also in very good condition with some marks and an unfortunate tear to one inner flap. Please see the photos.
