    Vintage Schylling Tin-Plate Friction Operated “Robot – Space Trooper”

    A great collectable for the retro tin-plate toy collector.  Looking very much like “Robby” the robot from the 1956 sci-fi classic “Forbidden Planet”, this is a collectors reproduction made circa the 1990′s and unlike the original, this is a friction operated robot, so you just wind the handle and put him down.  Made in China, he measures approximately 16.5cm tall and about 9cm at the widest points. This robot comes with the original box (slightly faded) and is in excellent condition with very minor paint loss in a couple of places but hardly noticeable.

    A super space trooper for the adult vintage toy collector!

    This fabulous and original Bakelite Sawyers’ three-dimensional picture “Viewmaster” dates from between 1945 and 1955.  This is the Model C version and the third generation Viewmaster to come from Sawyer’s, who were founded in 1914 in Oregon, U.S.A.   Interestingly, this model says ‘Made in Belgium” on it.

    Made from sturdy Bakelite and excellent condition for its age.  This stereo viewer has a very smooth action when scrolling through the 22 reels of fantastic 3D images that come with it!  The reels date from 1946 to 1959 and most of the reels are in very condition, but three reels have some damage to them where one or two pictures are missing or damaged.  Some great reels of European and American cities (with great shots of people and cars) and a few great pre-Disney story reels including, Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood and the controversial “Little Black Sambo” (all made from plasticine)!     A super example of early Sawyers’ magic (and one of the nicest looking too!).

    This fantastic retro “Snoopy” stuffed toy is a real blast from the past! Everyone, everywhere in the world knows and loves this cool dog originally created in the 1950′s as a hand-drawn comic sketch by Charles M. Schulz and then having taken the world by storm with the great Charlie Brown characters which featured in comics, animated cartoons and a bundle of collectable merchandise.  Made in Taiwan circa 1968, this Snoopy is beautifully made and stuffed with “shredded clippings” so is firm to the touch.  In very good condition overall, with very minor age-related staining to the whites (as would be expected), but with excellent and vibrant denim jeans and sweatshirt.  A lovely nostalgic and quite rare, in this condition, collectable.  Normally these toys ended up discarded with badly stained bodies, torn ears and chewed noses (I know that was the fate of mine!). Give Snoopy a good home (and a dry clean) and he will be your faithful loving friend for many years to come!  Go on, he doesn’t need feeding!

    Wow! What a find! This is NOT a toy and is a vintage and collectable piece of novelty toy history.  Ellisdons (& Sons) was a British, London based manufacturer and mail order company that specialised in magic tricks and novelty toys between the 1898 and 1956 and claimed to be “The Largest Mail Order House for Novelties in the World”.  Many young budding magicians and enthusiasts out there will no doubt know of Ellisdons or remember buying their amazing novelties which are now very rare to find!

    This a set of two unused and as new packets of “Smoking Cigarettes”.  Not for children, for obvious reasons, but an incredibly rare piece of vintage toy and novelty!  An essential for any collector of vintage toys!

    This is an incredibly cool and very rare original 1978 Kenner 15in Darth Vader figure/doll.  In excellent condition with very minor scratches to his head, he is almost complete with his all important and often lost cloak and is only missing his lightsaber which is possible to source (and will be added to this figure if I find it in the meantime).

    Measuring a huge 15 inches, or approximately 38cm tall, this is a must-have for any die-hard Darth Vader, original Star Wars fan or collector!
