A great set for the beginner-collector or if you missed this set the first time round. Legal tender in 1968, this set was Issued circa 1971, the set of five uncirculated coins are part of the Royal Mint’s “Britain’s First Decimal Coins”. The coins have darkened over the years and could (if you really have to) be carefully cleaned.
Set contains a 1 x 1/2p, 1 x 1p, 1 x 2p, 1 x 5p and 1 x 10p. – The silver coins have the 1968 date on them, whilst the copper coins have the date 1971.
A historic set that an essential for any coin collector! And the come in a handy little presentation pouch with information card.
