    This splendid Clarice Cliff “Celtic Harvest” art deco  The colours are bright and this lovely coffee can is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or any restoration work.  Near perfect on the outside and clearly marked underneath with all the important “Clarice Cliff, Newport” backstamp. Please see photos for close up detail.  Measures approximately 9.5 cm in diameter and 7.5cm high.

    This classic art deco design milk jug is by one Britain’s most collected studio pottery artists: Clarice Cliff.  In excellent condition, this milk jug is free from chips, cracks or any restoration, this is a lovely piece for display or for daily use.  Undecorated as a lot of Clarice Cliff pottery wasn’t during the war as resources (paintress skills, etc) were need elsewhere for obvious reasons.

    Clearly marked to the base with “Clarice Cliff, Newport Pottery Co England” with an embossed reg no. 84007 c.

    This vintage art deco designed Clarice Cliff jam or preserve pot, is from the “Spring Crocus” series of very collectable designs from this great studio.  Designed in the 1930′s but this one dates from circa the 1940′s with clear markings underneath:  “Clarice Cliff, Newport Pottery, England”.

    Although it has lost its lid and sports a fine hairline crack to one side (see photos), its in good condition.  Commensurate with age, there is some crazing but still presentable and collectable.

    Measuring approx. 7.5cm high or 4 inches.

    An increasingly rare and desirable collectors piece of art deco Clarice Cliff – and if you find or have the lid, worth even more!  Grab a bargain!

    This lovely piece of art deco period Clarice Cliff preserve pot is decorated in a often called “Leaf and Berries” pattern and is in excellent condition with bright colours and no chips, cracks or any restoration work.  There is some crazing around the base of where the lid would sit and the lid is missing. The external moulded relief is beautifully made and is hand-painted in gorgeous late summer fruit colours with a green/blue glaze.  Clearly marked underneath with all the important “Clarice Cliff, Newport Pottery” backstamp and the moulded number “37A”.     Art Deco 1920′s to 1930′s “Liberty” Pattern Clarice Cliff “Bizarre” Odilon Shaped Sugar Bowl with Lid – Newport Pottery – 0000426

    This splendid Clarice Cliff “Bizarre” art deco conical “Odilon” shape sugar bowl with the often lost or broken lid, is beautifully and skilfully hand-painted in the rare “Liberty” banded pattern of brown, beige and orange shaded bands on a honey-coloured glaze.  Dating circa 1928 to 1933 and a classic design made at both the Wilkinsons and Newport potteries.  The colours are bright and this gorgeous sugar bowl is in very good condition for its age with no chips or any restoration work. There is tight hairline from the rim down and some very minor firing faults and tiny flecks of paint missing around the rim.  There is also some underglaze discolouration to a couple of parts of the glaze but these do not detract from the overall beauty of this piece.  Clearly marked underneath with all the important “Bizarre” and “Clarice Cliff, Newport Pottery” backstamps. Please see photos for close up detail.  Measures approximately 9cm high to finial and 14.5cm wide (from the edge of the handles).

    This lovely large Art Deco Clarice Cliff, Newport Pottery salad or fruit bowl is in the “Chestnut” pattern with a raised relief moulding. Made circa 1937, this lovely bowl is finished in lovely warm autumnal colours.

    Overall, this bowl is in excellent condition for its age with no crazing, no chips, no cracks or restoration. The hand painted relief does have some paint loss and internally there are some scratch marks which look to be easily removable with care.

    This large bowl measures approximately 22.5cm in diameter by 10cm in height.

    A lovely 1930′s piece of Clarice Cliff for the collector or for daily use for displaying your 5-a-days!

    This lovely collectable hand-painted Clarice Cliff Blackbird Pie Funnel was made by the Newport Pottery Co circa 1936 and was a registered design. In excellent, possibly never used condition with no chips, cracks or restoration work. This one appears to be from the earlier funnels produced, often refereed to as the ‘first batch”, has it has tinges on blue running into the white base and the black on the bird is light in areas.

    Not marked to the base with the usual Newport Pottery mark by clearly incised to the front with the Registration No. 809138.

    A lovely collectable and usable piece for the vintage Clarice Cliff collector or lover of vintage kitchenalia as it displays perfectly!

    This gorgeous and quite rare hand-painted Clarice Cliff Wilkinsons Ltd salad or fruit bowl was made circa 1936.

    Part of the “The Biarritz Royal Staffordshire” range and with a timeless and distinct square design, this piece is in excellent condition with no cracks or restoration work.  It does however have a number of marks which look like factory faults and a small rubbing on one corner.  Please see photos.  Measures 24cm x 24cm x 7cm approximately.

    Clearly marked on the underside with “The Biarritz” and with the Clarice Cliff signature, this is a must for any art deco or Clarice Cliff collector!
