  • Vintage 1928 “The Motorists Pocket Booklet” – National Safety First Association – 0000223

Vintage 1928 “The Motorists Pocket Booklet” – National Safety First Association – 0000223

This piece of driving history ephemera is something I picked up a while back.  Dated 1928,  this is “The Motorist’s Pocket Book” by the National Safety First Association, with tips, tricks and advice for the new motorist in the early 20th Century.  Loads of interesting articles, adverts and handy travel advice.

Condition could be better but its still intact although a bit grubby and worn.

One for the collector.  A lovely snap shot of the early motorist and a great piece of driving memorabilia!

  • Authentic 1929 Baltimore Ohio Railroad Company Common Stock Share Certificate – 0000055

Authentic 1929 Baltimore Ohio Railroad Company Common Stock Share Certificate – 0000055

This item is neither a note or a stamp but appropriately fits into this category as it is 29 (Cancelled) shares in the “Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company” in the USA and made out to “Proctor, Cook and Co” and dated 1929.  The shares appears to have been issued on the 14th November 1929 and then cancelled again on the 22nd November 1929.  Strange?

The share certificate is pretty much as it was when issued nearly a 100 years ago so in excellent condition and it is presented in a gold frame for display.  From the sticker on the back it appears to have been framed in West Germany; a possible explanation for the spelling error on the Certicate of Authenticity (see photo).

Great for the collector of old stocks and railway memorabilia.

  • Vintage 1950′s-1960′s Automobilia – The HP Car Tray – Car Accessory – 0000461

Vintage 1950′s-1960′s Automobilia – The HP Car Tray – Car Accessory – 0000461

If you love vintage and retro automobilia and car related collectables, this is a must! This retro cool 1950′s to 1960′s “The HP Car Tray” is perfect for your vintage drives in the countryside. “Hooks easily to car doors with winding windows” and I would guess to your modern electric ones too and would be superb for holding your picnics and snacks. Still with its original “Halfords” price sticker of 43p and original box which is in good condition but does have some wear (as would be expected). The tray is in good condition with very minor storage discolouration (not bad at all) and some minor oxidation to the metal legs. Still fully functional and usable.

A nice little collectable for the driving enthusiast or collector of vintage automobilia!
