Vintage Japanese Lustre Painted “Noah’s Ark” Egg Cup (White) – 0000367

This vintage and very collectable “Noah’s Ark” egg cup is painted in a lovely iridescent lustre finish.

Marked with an incised cross and three painted dots to the base, this egg cup is Japanese made and was featured in Millers Collectables Guide in 2009.

This lovely egg cup is in excellent condition and is totally free from any cracks, chips or any restoration work. There is some age related crazing which is commensurate with its age. Measures approximately 6.5cm high.

A great example of this rare and collectable egg cup that should in every vintage egg cup collection!

Vintage Art Deco Ceramic Egg Cups and Stand Set – Made in England & Marked “G” – 0000348

This beautiful egg cup and stand set is fabulously kitsch and very practical. Made circa the 1930′s to 1950′s, this set is in very good condition with no chips or restoration work. There is some age related crazing to the glaze and one egg cup has a small hairline that is only visible from the inside and the stand has a small stained pit in the crazing (please see photos). Marked with an impressed capital “G”, “Made in England” and the number “1032″. I can’t seem to identify this maker so if you have any ideas, please let me know.

A lovely set for the vintage or kitsch egg cup collector! Looks gorgeous on display and can be used!

Vintage 1930′s/1940′s German “French Style Clown” Porcelain Egg Cup – 0000249

This lovely and delicate translucent porcelain French style clown egg cup is possibly German and dates circa the 1930′s or 1940′s.

Marked “Foreign” on the base, this egg cup is hand-painted and in good vintage condition for its age, with no chips or restoration, but it does have wear to some of the colouring and does have a hairline crack to the base which is only visible if you pick it up. Please see the photos.

A great vintage egg cup for the German porcelain collector or lover of vintage kitchenalia.

Vintage 1930′s German Hand-Painted “Smiling Boy” Egg Cup – 0000133

This vintage porcelain “Smiling Boy” egg cup was very likely made in Germany in or around the 1930′s. Similar in design to an egg cup made by Goebel around the same period.

This very collectable egg cup (featured in Miller’s Collectables 2009) is free of cracks or repair but has the tiniest chip on the inner rim (not obvious and appears to be old). Although there is some minor ware to the hand-painted features, the egg cup retains its charm and character. Marked 321 on the base.

Vintage Lustreware 1920′s/1930′s Pig / “Porky Pig” Egg Cup – 0000180

This vintage lustreware egg cup is of a pig and dates from around the 1920′s or 1930′s. It was probably made in Japan or Germany, but I can not confirm this.

It looks to me like a very early character and very similar to early Porky Pig drawings. It is unmarked to the base and is free from damage except for crazing to the glaze and wear to the lustre finish.

Great piece of vintage kitchenalia or for the lover and collector of vintage, rare and collectable egg cups.

This vintage pink lustreware egg cup dates from circa the 1920′s and is a simple and classic egg cup shape. In a fabulous hot pink colour with an iridescent lustreware.

Marked “Foreign” within a circle on the base, this egg cup is most likely of European origin and is in excellent condition with very minor wear to the lustre finish and a few factory fault spots. See photos.
