This classy vintage Mason’s Ironstone egg cup dates from between 1891, when the word “England” was introduced to the Mason’s backstamp and 1940 when the word was replaced with “Made in England”. The egg cup is in very good condition, except for a tiny (visible only if you look really hard) chip on the base (see lower right hand of right side photo).
This is an elegant egg cup to add to your egg cup collection by the famous Mason’s Ironstone, whom have made fine pottery for centuries!
