I was about 7 years old when Steven Spielberg’s E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial came out and I absolutely loved E.T. and was obsessed with the movie and all its merchandise. Although it took many years to be released on video for home use, the toys and collectables for the movie were brilliant! From pens and pencil cases, to great toys.
This E.T. is quite rare in that it is a well-molded and detailed likeness of the lovely alien. Made from a plastic/rubber material that is hollow but soft and hard at the same time. Measuring a cool 21.5cm tall approximately, with moving arms and swiveling neck, he’s lovely to display.
2012 is the 30th Anniversary of E.T. and the fantastic story of the alien who wanted to go home…
E.T. is in very good but used condition: he has some marks and rubbings in parts, but his eyes are bright and he is in great shape for a 30 year old!
He is clearly marked underneath with the words “1982, Universal City Studios Inc.” and is a great collectable to have.
Give E.T. a loving home…he’s been looking for the last 30 years!
