  • Antique Rare Victorian 1878 – 1890 – Wedgwood Floral Saucer / Small Dish – 0000345

    Antique Rare Victorian 1878 – 1890 – Wedgwood Floral Saucer / Small Dish – 0000345

This beautiful antique Victorian Wedgwood floral saucer or small dish was made circa 1878 to 1890.  In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration work (a couple of factory transfer errors).

Marked with an impressed Wedgwood stamp, the Wedgwood Portland Vase backstamp without the three stars and without the word “England”, which was added to the mark in 1890 to conform with the USA’s McKinley Tariff Act and thus dating this dish to within 12 years from when it was made.  Measures approximately 14cm in diameter.

A lovely dish that is quite rare (I haven’t seen one like this), very presentable and highly collectable!

  • Retro 1960′s / 1970′s Susie Cooper Designed Wedgwood “Dumbells/Diablo” Twelve Piece Coffee Can & Saucer Set – 0000357

Retro 1960′s / 1970′s Susie Cooper Designed Wedgwood “Dumbells/Diablo” Twelve Piece Coffee Can & Saucer Set – 0000357

This stunning retro Susie Cooper designed twelve (12) piece coffee can and saucer set was made circa 1969 to 1974 by Wedgwood, who took over the Susie Cooper work shortly before this set was made in 1966.  As expected, this set is made from high quality porcelain and is beautifully and colourfully designed with a pattern often called “Dumbells” but also known as “Diablo”.  I have not seen another set like it in these stunning range of colours and in absolutely fantastic condition as it has never been used!  Totally free from chips, cracks or any restoration work, there are a couple of very minor marks and scratches that are inevitable with the matt finish on this style of glaze (really minor – please see photos).

A lovely retro set that is both practical and collectable!  They look superb on display and essential for the Susie Cooper collector!
