One of my favourite pieces and a scarce design I have not seen.
Made circa 1906, this typically Art Nouveau period design is gorgeous and vibrant with a different frieze of hand-painted yellow tulips on each face and around the top, set within a circle and against a pastel-like violet and green background. A design I believe to be quite rare.
In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration work and with only some minor discolouration internally to the crazing which is commensurate with age.
This vase/pot, measures approximately 10cm high and 8cm wide and is clearly marked with the Crown Staffordshire backstamp that dates to circa 1906 and a monogram and the numbers 225.
A visually stunning piece from any angle and one that would look gorgeous on display! A lovely little collectable piece of Crown Staffordshire.
