What a fabulous find! Emma Bridgewater is one of the most collectable modern designers of pottery and homewares. Founded in 1985 in Stoke-on-Trent England by Emma Rice Bridgewater and Matthew Rice, their most famous design is the polka dot pattern seen on many wares. The Blue Stars pattern is a lovely and vibrant spongeware design that was produced circa 1998 and is a highly collectable pattern having been reproduced again in the last few of years for collectors, due to its popular demand, although the newer designs are called “Starry Skies” with a mixture of large and small stars.
This jug is an original from the 1990’s and is in absolutely excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration – In fact, it looks unused – a real rarity and a great find!
Measuring approximately 8cm tall and 11.5cm from spout to handle, this lovely Emma Bridgewater jug would make a great addition to any Emma Bridgewater or vintage kitchenalia collection! Gorgeous!
