A lovely piece of vintage kitchenalia! Spongeware is very collectable and desirable and is still being made today by well-known designers such as Emma Bridgewater.
This stunning mug or teacup is made by P & K which is Price and Kensington, who are well known for there collectable “Cottage Ware” and this lovely blue and white design harks back to the Chintz of the Victorian age. Victoriana is a lovely spongeware design and comes as dishes, bowls and pitchers in the set. Dating to within the last 30 years, this cup is in excellent unused condition, with no chips, cracks or restoration.
A gorgeous well made solid mug, perfect for your afternoon tea or coffee and measuring approximately 10cm, it’s a great size too: not too big and not too small.
